The American diner has been around since the late 1800s, beginning with simple food carts serving workers after hours. Those carts eventually became the dining-car-style restaurants people came to know as diners. Through all those years, one part stuck: the diner became a place where people gathered.

We call ourselves Today’s Diner because we like the history without feeling stuck in it. Good meals, familiar service, a comfortable booth, and a place where families and friends can spend some time together still work just fine today.
